We engaged Jean to help with the renovation of our house on Cape Cod. We have to say it is the smartest move we could have made. She has been involved in the design, construction and finish phases.

Jean has done a phenomenal job in all regards. She is easy to collaborate with design-wise and has come up with some unique ideas that have turned what could have been a ho-hum space into something very special. With her wealth of experience Jean pointed us in some new directions for sourcing materials that we never have considered, making the space that much more our own.

As a bonus Jean is very knowledgable regarding construction issues and is very savvy in advocating on behalf of her clients. Jean routinely interfaced with our builder to make the process go as smoothly as possible - a huge plus since we are several hundred miles from the job site.

As we put the finishing touches in place Jean continues to give us spot-on recommendations that tie together many disparate elements (from a pre-Raymond Interiors renovation) throughout the house.

We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found Jean Raymond by way of a house tour in 2010 that featured her home in Dover, Massachusetts. That year was the beginning of what has been an extremely successful long term collaboration to redo multiple rooms in our home. We have worked with Jean to remodel our guest room, family room, TV room, living room, kitchen and now our downstairs bath. Jean is the consummate professional; she has a deep knowledge of the industry and is able to offer multiple ways to solve a problem. She has a true talent for design and we can always trust that her ideas will work. When there are particular budget constraints she has been willing to problem solve with an eye on the cost. We always enjoy being with Jean. She is responsive and well organized and is one of those rare professionals who you will never forget.

My wife, Michelle, meet Jean during a round of golf with a mutual friend. Days later we learned that she was in the interior design business, mostly up in the Chatham and Dover area. After getting to know her a little better we asked her to take a look at the house in Naples, FL that we were just beginning to renovate. That was truly our lucky day.

Jean spent several days with us to understand what we were trying to accomplish. She then began to introduce concepts which we would never have considered, such as, varying the ceiling elevations and incorporating feature lighting, adding a walk-in wine room with large window opening to the dining room, adding additional bathrooms so all are en suite, adding an outdoor shower and integrating the large open inside area with the lani and pool area. She was also instrumental in helping us find elegant yet reasonably priced furnishing throughout.

Jean has become a friend and confidant. We would be most willing to be a reference for her at any time.

For me, a great designer is one who can transform the look and feel of space while prioritizing and capturing three key things: the essence of the space, the owner's personal style and an appreciation for budget. Jean Raymond of Raymond Interiors helped me furnish a 4000 square foot home in Naples Florida. She did an amazing job picking out furnishings, rugs, tile and art work. Jean has excellent taste and great ideas. She designed and oversaw the renovation of our kitchen including installation of lighting, tile, furniture and a stainless steel shelf and food warmer. The final look completely updated the kitchen form Mediterranean to modern with a few changes.

Jean also oversaw renovation of two bathrooms. She used state of the art techniques for converting old bathrooms to contemporary spas with minimal destruction. The new look is clean and sophisticated. Jean helped with the selection of furnishings for all rooms in the home including a beautiful wood ceilinged lanai which is the focal point of the home.

Having worked with other designers in previous homes, I would highly recommend Jean over anyone else I have hired. Her taste is excellent, she immediately understood my style and she worked hard to find pieces that I would love. She was a pleasure to work with.

Jean did an excellent job on my new condo from design of the unit to the decorating including all the small details. Her attention to detail is exceptional which was very important to me.
